M.A.L.P. - MPD Client is an Android application that serves as a remote control for the music player daemon. The client implements most of the daemons functionality so that full media control and management is possible. The application is free to use and available for download on the Google Play Store.
M.A.L.P. - MPD Client offers a range of features for users, such as artist/album/files saved playlist library browsing, album artist filtering, and MBID filtering. Users can also enjoy local and server-based search, basic playlist management, launcher widget, optional notification, and background volume control via hardware buttons. Multiple server profiles and server statistics are also available, along with output control. Artwork support with MusicBrainz, Last.fm, and Fanart.tv as artwork provider is available for album and artist images. Fanart view is available for tablets or widescreen devices in landscape mode.
